First ever "Ferrari World" will become part of the Dubai Autodrome, creating a world of fun, fantasy and excitement under the Ferrari brand.

I have had the opportunity of working closely with the Chairman Mr. Jallaf on projects and he certainly is a man of vision.

Union Properties will be working alongside Ferrari to develop a spectacular new project, bringing the world's most famous and prestigious brand to become a focal part of Dubai. "Ferrari World" will be based in the Dubai Autodrome covering an area of over eighty hectares.

The project, which is planned to be completed in the Spring of 2006, is a multifaceted Ferrari themed "edutainment" complex, that will take the mantle of the internationally recognized entertainment and cultural park where the whole family can appreciate the Ferrari legend. "Ferrari World" will offer an experience unique to the region showcasing Ferrari's successful history, culture, style and quality of past, present and future endeavors. The project will feature a futuristic inter-active museum as well as an opportunity to experience the ultimate Ferrari driving experience alongside a Members and VIP clubhouse, amusement center, fine dining restaurants and a one-stop Ferrari store with the latest memorabilia available. In the ocean of Sand

In the ocean of Sand, originally uploaded by !efatima.

Being in a land of sand, the most popular mode of transportation are the SUVs. Usually, over the weekend for holidays, folks go over to the dunes for some fun in the sun - A Desert SAFARI. We also do a lot of sand surfing too :)

The desert safari in these SUVs is an experience to cherish. It actually feels like you are in a ocean floating with the high tides. However, if you are in the drivers seat, you certainly need some training. Safari is always done in pairs... coz if one car gets stuck, the otherone is always there to pull you out.
